Welcome to the "Kids CAN" Online Camps, where creativity knows no bounds! Explore our exciting courses bite-sized designed to unleash your and your child's imagination and develop essential skills in various domains.

Each course is designed with 3-4 weeks of content. That being said, they're very customizable to account for schedules as they are online and asynchronous.

Overview: "Mothers CAN” Write & Publish a Book Camp is a unique program tailored specifically for mothers looking to explore or enhance their writing talents and navigate the world of book self-publishing. It is the mother’s version of the "Kids CAN” Write & Publish a Book Camp. This camp aims to empower mothers by providing them with the tools and community support to bring their literary visions to life.

Target Audience: This camp is perfect for mothers of any age, whether they are new to writing or have some experience but wish to take their skills to the next level by self-publishing. It's designed to be inclusive and supportive, welcoming mothers from all walks of life who share a common interest in storytelling.

Program Features:

  • Writing Workshops: These workshops focus on various aspects of writing, from crafting compelling narratives to effective editing techniques.
  • Self-Publishing Guidance: These sections give step-by-step guidance on self-publishing your book.
  • Supportive Community: The camp fosters a nurturing environment where mothers can connect with peers facing similar challenges and share experiences through the discussion feature, fostering a network of support and encouragement.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Understanding the busy lives of mothers, the camp offers complete flexible scheduling options as it is asynchronous and online to accommodate different needs.

Outcomes: By the end of the camp, participants will not only have made significant progress on their storytelling abilities but will also possess a clearer understanding of the self-publishing landscape. They will leave with a network of contacts, potential collaborators, and a solid plan to move forward with publishing their work.

Location and Duration: The camp is asynchronous and online and takes about 3 weeks to complete. It can be taken anytime over the course of one year and is open year-long. Participants have one year of access to the content.

"Kids CAN" Code & Publish a Roblox Game Camp:

Camp Description:

Dive into the exciting world of game development with our Roblox camp! Geared towards kids aged 8-13, but open to ALL ages, this course empowers participants to design and create their own Roblox games using Roblox Studio and Lua scripting language. From designing obstacles to coding gameplay mechanics, participants will bring their game ideas to life and share them with friends.

The highlight of the program is the opportunity to write and publish a scientific review paper on a topic of their choice, allowing participants to share their passion for science with the world.

Participants will learn to build their own websites from scratch using user-friendly tools and platforms.

Description: Build and showcase your own website while learning how to use AI and essential web development skills.

  • Frequency: 2-3 times per week
  • Duration: 3 weeks

Weekly Office Hours (Virtual):

Participants can join to ask questions, seek guidance, and receive feedback on their progress throughout the week.

The rest of the camp activities, including lessons, experiments, and project work, are asynchronous, allowing participants to engage with the material at their own pace and convenience.
